Procedural Law and Competition Law

German procedural law is also connected to competition law; it  is characterised by so-called interim injunctions (einstweilige Verfügung) . This is a court decision that enforces injunctive relief within a short period of time, usually “overnight”. However, this procedural move is preceded by an out-of-court warning notice. It serves to warn the injured party and to give them the opportunity to immediately and seriously cease this infringement instead of pushing the parties in an expensive and time-consuming legal proceedings.
